Bookmaking Workshop – Cancellation leads to new opportunity

What has happened since the last update – aside from the ongoing pandemic and the rise of Delta, Omicron, and the new Omicron variant BA.2 – I guess some things happened.

To start the 2022 I had agreed to lead a professional development day for elementary school art teachers at the beginning of January.  Omicron has started to seize the country and of course, the workshop was cancelled the afternoon before the event.

And as the saying “When one door closes another one opens” goes, with this canecellation came a smaller workshop oppotunity for a professional development day at the ne Buchanan Arts comunity center in Nashville.  This may even lead to a three day weekend workshop with  Buchanan later in February.

I also completed a commission of binding two books for a good friend of mine. (This was such a fast job, I didn’t even have time to take photos of them).
