ENDADA Music & Arts Virtual Festival
While Landlocked Island is in lock down at the Montgomery Bell Academy Gallery, I was asked by a MBA student if I would be willing to participate in some way with the school’s annual Music & Arts Festival, ENDADA. Much like many event these days, they student committee and their faculty advisors made the decision to shift the celebration to a virtual experience. This year the festival celebrates its 10th iteration!
The Festival describes their event with:
“ENDADA is MBA’s only student-run festival and highlights music and arts at both a student and a professional level. In the past, we have featured graffiti artists, woodworkers, print-makers, painters, special effects artist, coders, improv and acting, musicians from all backgrounds, and food from some of Nashville’s most-loved chefs. The festival is free and open to the community.
Each year at ENDADA, dozens of professional artists from the Metro Nashville community will sell and exhibit their work, while also providing the rare chance to witness the birth of artistic creativity through interactive demonstrations. As a soundtrack for these imaginative collaborations, live music will be performed throughout the day, with a lineup of talented bands and performers.
Our mission is to not only celebrate local professional artists and student’s creative endeavors but to engage the community in making their mark as well.” – Montgomery Bell Academy, August 26, 2019.
