Islands and Family
I’ve been thinking of about family a lot recently – nothing new, really. Family has always been somewhat of a general umbrella term. Family referred to my immediate family ( father, mother, siblings, and cautiously reaching out to extended family, meaning cousins, aunts, uncles, and grandparents). Since 2001, family has been the bench mark, the foundation, the source of why I make art.
