Montgomery Bell Academy exhibition February 11 – April 6, 2020

I’m excited to show some recent work at the Montgomery Bell Academy here in Nashville!

The exhibition, Landlocked Island, will show the recent ink drawings of family photographs alongside a selection of color pencil drawings and mixed media collage works.

Thank you Montgomery Bell art teachers, Catherine Hollifield and Alison Flanagan for inviting me to exhibit in the Davis Building  gallery space.

Montgomery Bell Academy is an all boys school founded in 1867 and has a mission of developing “gentlemen, scholars, and athletes” in their student body.

Catherine and Alison have implemented these characteristics into their art curriculum – culminating in technique and a historical art context in their students’ works. My tour of their facility and their studio classrooms was a fantastic experience.

I am excited to share my work with the Montgomery Bell students and faculty.

The show will be on view beginning  February 11 and closing April 6, 2020. A reception is scheduled for Friday, February 28, 2020 from 5:30pm to 7:30pm in the First Floor Gallery of the Davis Building. Montgomery Bell Academy is located at 4001 Harding Road, Nashville, TN 37205.
